In a unanimous vote, the Trade Lake Supervisors voted on November 12th to extend the CAFO moratorium for one year beginning on it’s first year anniversary in January 2021 and running till January 2022.

The Supervisors also voted to create an Ordinance Committee with at least three electors and one supervisor. Their job, according to Town Attorney Nick Vivian, would be to review the current Ordinance in respect to comments made by the DNR about the Eureka Ordinance which was submitted to them by the Polk County Attorney. Further, to flesh out the Ordinance with supporting documents and the testimony of experts.

Volunteers for the Committee should contact Roger Hinrichs, acting Town Chair.
