Sometimes it’s not a giant pig farm, it’s an expanding dairy. The factory farm industry seems to be growing at an increasing rate. In this case, a dairy operation wants to expand. These expansions increase manure production which increases pollution to water: streams, rivers, lakes, aquifers etc.
